OPTICAL PAYLOAD SYSTEM

  • The payload camera is a customizable imaging system that uses FPGA and Flash mass storage. memory storage and SPI flash memory.
  • The electronics provides a software defined payload architecture; following features are implemented:
  • Image compression – JPEG. )
  • Image encryption- AES based.
  • Imaging modes: snapshot image, crop imaging (windowing); adjustable video rate imaging.
  • Mass storage: 512 G-bits.
  • Fault tolerant processing.
  • SEU count for the FPGA Chip.
  • CMV 2000 / CMV 4000 image sensor (mono and color).
  • Upgradable to Hyperspectral imaging (25 Bands).
  • Optical system can fit into 1U and other one for 3U cubesat.
